Founded in 1999, Covenant Web Design has been building easy to use and functional websites for over 20 years. While our focus has always been websites with robust content management systems (CMS), we specialize in commercial websites built with Drupal.
Formed in Des Moines, Iowa the three crucial core values that defined us were:
- Sustainability
- Flexibility
- Joyfulness
We still hold to these beliefs and work to make sure they show through in our work for clients. For many years now, we have been able to establish and maintain long term business relationships. We have no intention of disappearing.
A lot has changed in the last 20 years for web development. Content Management Systems have come and gone. Others have improved and added functionality that makes managing a website easier. We focus on Drupal websites, but also build websites with Wordpress or Shopify.
As a company we have changed as well. We realized we could expand the available talent pool by extending our operations and decided to pivot to a remote work model over 15 years ago. While we still maintain a physical office in Pennsylvania, our move to virtual offices allowed us to add talent, while simultaneously keeping prices affordable for our clients. Being remote allows our team to be agile in the work we do for our clients and with their lives. It has given us the best of both words and allows our team to focus on maintaining that “joyfulness” we were founded on over 20 years ago. We now have staff operating out of Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas, Pennsylvania, and as far as Brazil.

Our Process
As you can see above, our process is pretty simple and straightforward. While we have tinkered with it over the years, in the end we found the most success with a straightforward approach all of our clients can understand. Discover, Prescribe, Design, and Deliver.
