—A website for a parent company publishes Materials Data Sheets that are frequently updated. Each update must be simultaneously updated on the websites of the parent company's 12 subsidiaries. Updating 13 websites is a time-consuming and expensive process. So we're saving all the companies money by developing an API architecture that allows all 13 sites to share code from a single source.
—An ecommerce site displays endless product options as a user scrolls down the page. To enable more display space, we're making the menu fade when a user begins to scroll. But if the user starts to scroll back up, the menu fades back into view.
—A software sales site allows buyers to customize modules on the software package they purchase and download. Along with developing customizable software packaging through the website, we're developing tracking functions so that software updates can be sent out based on specific product purchases.
5. Globalism
Several Drupal modules are designed to translate website content into a user's language.
