Olathe is a home-base for us since our Development Manager, Michael has lived in Olathe all his life. He is a Kansas-city boy from way back and worked at Olathe's big tech success, Garmin. One day he realized he wanted to get to know customers personally and did not want the long hours that came with corporate promotions. Thankfully, that was the same day that we were searching for a Development Manager to lead our team. Coincidence? We think not.
Sure, we have distance relationships down to a science - a must when your morning meeting involves folks from five states. However, nothing replaces a good ol' fashioned face-to-face meeting.
